Questions on adding IROC sway bars

I found someone that will sell me a set of front and rear IROC sway bars as well as the wonderbar. Can I use the existing endlinks on my car or should I (and where) go get new ones? I already plan to get new bushings. Are there any kits out there that include all new brackets and all that?

Also, what are some solutions to the lower radiator hose hitting the thicker sway bar?

TIA

I do not know all that much about suspension but I would get the poly Urethane kit with all the bushings and ends from Summit its like $129. I am sure you would not regret getting it.

I re-used the end-links and it works fine. I didn't feel like buying any bushings. Oh, and the radiator hose isn't affected by the sway bar........but the wonderbar might. When I bought my sway bars I didn't buy the wonderbar so I don't remember if it will interfere.

Make sure you have the rear brackets for the sway bar if you car wasn't optioned for one... also, I got my entire end link set with bushings for 15 dollars at Pep-Boys, they are polygraphite bushings. I have been very happy with my now much tighter rear-end (my car was not optioned with a rear sway.)

Wow, what $130 kit? End links from Summit, part #ENS-9-8117R (r for red) or ENS-9-8117G (g for graphite=black), $13.99! Were you looking at the full Hyperflex suspension rebuild kit? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=5374',650,505,'ENS98117R'

Whatever kit Joe was talking about, I was asking what's the difference between that and the $15 one from Pep Boys.

Oh wait. I guess he's talking about a suspension rebuild kit, not just end links.

Same for rear; you measure the sleeve length. That's the piece of metal in the center of the end link, between the bar and the body mount. Measure it between the washers. That part # is for a 2 5/8" sleeve length. You can order different lengths to tune the suspension, but that part # is off the http://www.energysuspension.com online parts listing. It doesn't matter which bar you're putting on, if it's a stock bar from a v6 or trans am or iroc or an '82 z28, they all use the same length end-link. You should search the Suspension/Chassis/Brakes forum for more info on "sleeve length".

And sorry, I didn't even see Joe_L's message! I saw you asking about a $130 kit and thought "no! Don't spend that!" and didn't read any of the other messages. My apologies!
