New to the Board

I've been reading this board for a few months and finally got around to registering. I've got a 1991 Firebird, v6 of course, and so far I've done the throttle body bypass and a custom CAI. I nearly fainted when I read about the headers for the 60v6 too bad it looks like it's not going to take off, I was going to spring for them the second I had the cash even if they had to sit in the garage for a month or more while I saved to get them installed. The STB also looks interesting and will probably be my next addition. I'm thrilled that there are people besides me that want to upgrade the v6 and don't just repeatedly say "v6's suck get a 350". I think the sbc has been overdone and all I really need right now is a quick street car and the 3.1 is doing a good job of that. I'm trying to get some pictures up so if you're interested I'll try and get a link up soon, I've got the web space just lacking the know how and equipment to do so since my mb decided to fry on me. I'm looking forward to learning and maybe contributing my opinion and very limited knowledge.
David

Welcome to the board!!! If you are interested in headers get them now. I think CHD has 1 or 2 sets left and the more interest that is shown in them may make them more than a temporary fixture. Just check some of the recent threads and contact him. Just act fast

Welcome.
Let see some pictures when you get them.
I know I sold my car, but its not cause I need a 350 its cause I need $$$ for school. The V-6 is a fun car. If you can face the fact that you will never be overly fast the V-6 is a great platform to build on.

OK got my dad to load some pics up today of when it was freshly washed n' waxed. It seems I've got a Trans Am hood and Formula wheels on this thing. Was that just what was with the aero package?

Yes welcome David . I m one of the last that got a set of headers from CHC. Before he said enough. But I think he might still fab them ONLY if he had the payment in his hand. Before he made you a set. BTW did you gey my other post about your exhaust?

Welcome to the boards man! The people here are awesome, and if you haven't used it by now, don't forget about the search function. That way you don't get your head bit off for askin' somethin that has been gone over a million times. Then again, I think we've all done that before and been told to use the search. Beautiful looking car!
