adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

Does any one make a quality aftermarket adjustable fuel pressure unit for the V6 MFPI?

Will the V8 aftermarket units bolt on to our V6's Or are they different units?

Thanks for the answer, but I'd like a response from someone who knows. My car is not a crap shoot for me. I like tried and true methods. Remember Wayne, I was the guy that b*tched about people giving answers and not knowing what they were talking about as you reminded me recently in another post.

how about from a GM apprentice who does know?

get one for the V8 TPI cars

it will work, but the upper manifold gaskets obviously will not

so you'll need to buy new gasket too

Taking time to reply to a topic and only telling them to search the forum is just as dumb as asking a question before you search.

I consider it very rude myself an non-productive. Just ignor the thread and it will go away or start a pissing contest.

Your choice.

Before I posted this, I went back a about a year in time and did not find anything specific to V6's, just V8's. Ther hasn't been any recent posts on this. I'm wasting my time asking any questions here.

Gumby , That was a very productive answer you posted to his question . I didnt see you answering it either . Why do we have the search button then ? Personally , EVERYTIME , and I mean EVERYTIME I have a question on here , I look it up in the search first , instead of re-hashing the topic again . I have already read what a fricken good time responded to me , and I thought , Im going to ignore for a few reasons . 1. Im tired of bickering on here lately 2. sometimes its just better to keep your mouth shut 3. Dirk didnt make this website for f-body owners to have flame wars on .

BUT , your reply takes the cake .You say ignore the thread or it will start a pissing contest . Your reply is REAL HYPOCRITICAL . Ignore it or it will start a pissing contest . Then why didn't you ignore this post and keep your thoughts to yourself . Seems like your the one thats wanting to start a pissing contest .

Thankyou Teal .

You know , sometimes we have arguements on here (pertaining to all members ) . And I'll admit , sometimes I should have just kept my mouth shut instead of making enemies , or making other people mad at me.A good example , you know 1991TealRST-top guy and I have not gotten along lately . Now what did we accomplish from this guys ? Theres a question TomP could not even answer .

This is a site to come on and help others and get help for ourselves and learn about our cars . Sometimes fellas , and Im not just talking about me , Im talking about everyone its just better to keep your mouth shut when someone says something rude and let them make an *** out of themselves . But when a member replys to a post or makes a thread and almost everytime has to act like a ******** in the post , we need to ignore this member everytime .

Well even though we do care for eachother I will still give you the respect of a Thank You. I made a phone call to an old friend who is the most respected GM parts man in the country and had a few questions for him. He first told my not to mess with that 2.8 motor, so I explained to him I am gearing things towards a HT3.4 conversion. He said before I mess with it, just change it to larger injectors with the 3.4 in and see what you have first, it should be fine.

frikingoodtime,

go to ebay and find urself a set of 19lb injectors...
then send them to cruzinperformance.com (if they are not cleaned already)

AFPR i think some of the v8 ones will fit our car...u can also put it in the fuel return line (close to the A/C there are two lines..)

most v8 ones are made for 48psi v6 fuel pump only pumps something close to 36-40psi (im not sure of exact value)

i know for a fact that vortech FMU's (for superchargers) basically a regualtor with a fixed ratio will fit our car...
