Nitrous/blower...whatever. I'm not asking about 89 Turbo TAs since we all know they have lots of potential. What is the fastest one on this board? Fastest you have seen/heard of?

"Should be"? Without a time slip you can't really claim to be the fastest... no offense meant! Go get a timeslip! Hell, I should be "at least" what I was in '96 with a badly running car, no mods, and only ~100,000 miles on the car= 16.87. Add a ton of mods, 6 years, and another +100,000 miles, and I get a 17.2. Claims without timeslips don't carry any weight...
Not to bs or anything but I dont think I'm running the fastest but with a 3.4 and a 5 speed I think it gives me a better base then most people. The engine really does haul. I'm waiting til I can get a few things more before I take it to the track. I've got a CAI and exhaust done but I'd like to have headers, msd 6a and super coil, an slp posi unit because I have 3.42's already and they're perfect. Then some slick or at least drag radials and I dunno what I would run but I woudl hope high to mid 15's but hell it could be a high 16. Don't know til the track comes.

well, hows this sound for a fast V6, not done, in the process though. 3.4L from 94 camaro.rebuilt with JE forged internals(ring gap .022)NX nitrous kit, 150shot, t4 turbo, greddy turbo timer and boost controler, blitz blow off valve, Greddy gauges,nx N-tercooler into 3 core intercooler to cool at high boost, Eaton posi w/ 3.73 gears, larger disks for better stopping, Jetchip stage 2 chip. Jetchip t-400tranny and torque converter with B&m meggashifter. Custom turbo headers, with custom 3in midpipe and a flow 80 series. MSD 6AL ingniton and distrubuter, underdrive pullies, and cold air intake hooked up to turbo. Thats what my dad has given me a list sayign he wants for his 3.1 and it will be done because he has given me the funds to do it for him. What do u think about that? i think it might beat soem good 8's but this is going to take time because i only have a limited amount of time to help him out, my car needs work also., maby it will be the fastest 6 one day
o, and soem other little things liek larger fuel pump, dpni injectors, custom strut tower brace, 4 point rool bar, and a few other things, sound a little rice? yep, not my first choice, but i will work on it, i just love working on engine stuff.

Well, if nobody has a timeslip, then I claim to have the fastest 3rd gen so far! (scroll down for the times, I don't know why all these extra spaces get thrown in!)

These runs were from (gasp) 2000... haven't been back since. At "time #4", I had installed an MSD 6AL box and ditched the Accel coil for an MSD Blaster SS coil, so 4-7 have the MSD box on. Last time was using a TCC lockup switch.
