Should I pull one out of the boneyard ?
I've decided , I think its deffenate my fuel pressure regulator is bad . I was thinking about saving some bucks and pulling one from the boneyard . I was thinking well the one I have now has almost 200,000 miles on it , maybe I can find one with 100,000 or less on it .What do you guys think ? Thinking about going today but I hope this farkin rain does not stop me

I might just go ahead and get a new one . The problem is now , my money is SO TIGHT because of car repairs lately and going back to school . Im an art student and at the beggining of the sememster when I have to buy supplies , WOW - it really can hit you up ! I need to try to sell some of my work so I can have some extra cash for just spending money .
One good thing about this rain man is , its a little cooler outside !

Gosh I know what you mean with tight money and school! College starts on the 26 and I need about 500 dollars more for books and tuition!
I took art last semester and I have to say, I feel for you Wayne! I bought about 200 dollars of art supplies and I will probably never use them again! I can't even imagine a bill if I was majoring in art! A big thumbs up to you!

BACK ON THE PART NOW !
I found one at Advance for $30 bucks . I think Im going to get it tomorrow . It does not seem hard at all to change .Anyone done this before ?
I drove all the way out in BFE to get a regulator from a firebird , which I knew the boneyard had , then they guy told me , I cant sell you that because the motor is still good . O-well !
There has been some discussion on here lately , well I know there has been in the general tech board about spakplugs . Today I decided to put my good ole Ac delcos back in with 15k miles on them . The car just seems to run a little better , idle smoother with those plugs . Thats why I like to work on my own car , because I know whats good and I know what parts I like !

Thanx man
Anyone know what size security torx to buy ? I think HomeDepot sells them where you can buy just one bit .I might do that if I can find what size it is . I thought I had the torx bit to work , but I didnt . I ended up having to take the whole fuel rail with injectors out of an old firebird today in the boneyard . Turns out , I paid the price for a new one (just regulator) for the rail and injectors and regulator in the rail .But ,im ganna sell the fuel rail and injectors , so hopefully this will still come out cheaper lol .
Know what's sad guys ?
Almost all of these camaro/firebirds I see in the yards aren't wrecked , there just put there because you can get more money for the parts than you can buying the whole car . These bodys are in good shape , its ashame
