3.1(auto) bone stock quarter mile time?

So I have a 1991 Firebird w/ the 3.1(auto)
whats the bone stock quarter mile time?

now - whats the (theoretical) quarter mile without spare/jack, rear seats, washer fluid reserve, 2 floor mats.

ya see, im dropping in an LS1 with an LT1 chip in future, so bear with my "weight loss" question plz.

I figured b/w 16 and 17...
So answer this maybe -

My car has AC Rapidfire plugs, sensatrac shocks and struts, cold air intake w/ open element k&n, a gutted cat, no backseats, no spare/jack.

I am hoping for too much if i guessed 16.2?

p.s. I might be being vague on the chip but its a chipped LS1 - know that. I know cause Ive ridden in the car with the engine i am buying... sounds mean and im sure its gonne haul my car cause its hauling the suburban its in right now =)

Take it too the track. Guessing 1/4 mile times never works.
Everything plays a factor, Air temp, milage on car, weight of occupant.

I will guess for you. I would say 16.5-16.8.

I am not trying to be rude. I am just saying if you want to know your 1/4 mile time go out and race it. This will you give you the time, and not the time we make up for you.

Track yes... i plan to. Just seeing if anyone had a good idea.
Im tryiong to make the car a flat 16 with almost no investment to tide me over til i drop in the LS1 - So im also looking to bump up the fuel pressure (anyone know the magic number? im thinking around 50), and maybe throw in a decent mod like a cam for not a lot of money.

heh.. needs more than a tuneup. Lifters are tapping like a sumbitch, need to replace them along with the cam. Just fixed a coolant leak(leaked a tank a week) that turned out to be the water pump gasket. We got some spark plugs for it... maybe that will make a difference. Hate this 2.8l with a passion

Make no mistake, the sensatracs dont hold a candle to KYB's or anything that pricey... but yes they are a nice mixture of performance and ride.
