3.4 or 3.8 Injectors

What are the flow rates of 4th gen injectors from the 3.4 or 3.8? If I pull them would it be a good mod for the 2.8? I am looking for about 1-2lbs more flow...

Since I use them, the 3.4 perform exceptional.
FYI
305 Chevy flow 19lbs.
350= 21 lbs flow.

I did the 2.8->3.4 swap already in my 88 'Bird. I put all of the 2.8 stuff on the 3.4, so I am using the 2.8 injectors on the 3.4. This car can easily take on the stock auto 305's, but I am looking for just a bit more power, so I'll ask the same question, could I benefit from getting bigger injectors, and if so please give me a size and part # for those injectors!

I think injectors are pretty universal, do a search. If I remember right you can even use ford SVT mustang injectors. I would just get a set of brand new 3.4L injectors OR if you DO have a cam get some accel.

Used,
Obtain these from ANY 3.4 powered vehicle.
The spray heads look like a shower head.
Multiple holes about 5+.
I do not know flow rating, but, I'll bet it's more than the 2.8.
Been so long since I've seen them.
My other set of 3.4 injectors are buried now.
Packed safely to be used for the MPFI set up after smog this year on the 1985 Blazer.
IF you did the 2.8->3.4 long block swap boogie & used a running 3.4 long block, you SHOULD have the injectors already.
Ah Maui!!
I'm drinking some Sir Wilfred Kannapali Coffee right now.
Been so long since I've been there.
Enjoy a rainbow, Sunset & Pancakes at Charlies in Piai for me.
After you've biked down at sunrise on Halilakala (?sp).

There is a Fiero guy I was talking to this weekend who is running 19lb Ford injectors in his 2.8 and spraying a 125 shot. Ford injectors are rated at 39psi; GM at 43psi, so flow from the Fords is slightly better. The 19 lb injectors are found in pretty much all 5.0 applications...Mustangs, Crown Vics, trucks, etc. They can usually be found very cheap, since lots of Ford guys replace them with 24s or larger on modded motors.

I believe I was told once it was 17lbs. I had asked in a post and never got a straight answer.

We are going with 19s in my 2.8 very soon!

injectors

okay. here we go. I just rebuilt my 3.1L and am still playing. Here's what i've done so far:

balanced crank.. 10 over
hypereutectic pistons.. 30 over moly rings
15/1000 off block
3 angle valve job
v8 350 double valve springs
roller tip rocker 1.6:1
melling performance cam MTC-5 .420/.440 lift
port/polished intake and exhaust
glass beaded exhaust/intake
bosch +4's, 8 mm wires
msd blaster 2 coil
2 1/2 inch cat back exhaust
high volume oil pump
stock injectors, modified pressure reg to 50 psi
stock timing gear set
stock 3.23 rear end
235/60's all around

I am now looking at 22LB injectors from a LT1 does anyone know if these will work and if so what I would gain? How about if I added the MSD 6A ignition?
