Yeah..autos got the 3.23's, manuals got 3.42's. So not only did they get an extra gear, but they got a better rear end too! Where's the sense in that??!

auto's are made for women, cause they can't shift so they don't need it.

Show me one! It's not that I don't believe you..I believe women are capable of being good drivers...I just have yet to see one. Women drivers around here are horrible. They speed, and they have no driving ability at all around here. My sister's a great example.. My dad's auto cavalier, the easiest learning car I've ever seen...she can hardly drive it. Gives it like NO gas...and she does everything jerkily. Like, EXACTLY how they teach you in Driver's Ed, which all of us know is NOTHING like how to do it in real life.

there are some farthers who care enough about their daughters to buy them a stick or make them learn one first. It is the best way to learn.

but back in the day, the auto was only made for women drivers. not only for them but for those type of people who cant chew gum and walk at the same time.

I remember my mom telling me about that, grandpa wanted her to learn a stick. going down the road about 35 she shifts into reverse. my uncle keith kick her out of the car and made her walk home.

Ha ha...wow. I've hit reverse a couple times, but never SHIFTED INTO reverse! Jeesh..that's what the loud warning screech is for... And I only kept wanting to shift into reverse because this was my buddy's 4 speed and it's bass ackwards...Reverse is upper left, and first is upper middle.....I always used to forget that part.

Hey Throop...TECHNICALLY, you could...but I think she'd end up with a concussion if you hit 3rd too quick.. I don't live in a very congested area, so I long for a stick right about now... Ok that sounded BAD.......
