Red stripes with a RED INTERIOR? You LUCKY DOG! I hate the plain jane black/grey scheme.....
Does your ride have that Z03 coding on the build sheet?
White Exterior & Red Interior is the way Chevrolet made the 1953 Corvette (and my old 1966 Covette, too!). One of Chevrolet's MOST modern (1950's to present) classic color schemes.
Wish REALLY WISH the FIFTITH ANNIVERSAY CORVETTE was produced that way (A Fancy Maroon Red/Red is the special color package, big deal)
Lucky great looking ride! Just like CaliCamaro's.
His ride looks great, too!
PROBABLY a dealer paint job (add/paint on red stripes, advertise as a low price heritage package!).
MANY dealers do things like that and only charge ya, can you say dealer markup!
I don't doubt you'll be seeing a few White/Red 2003 Corvettes (someone will be wise & repaint their 2003 Corvette the CORRECT colors!).
Man how some idiots still run/ruin GM decisions.
Only way I'd correct that Corvette paint scheme mistake is to produce a numerical sequential batch of 300 White/Red Convertibles.
This response is from one that owns a Mille Miglia Red/Red Corvette. Thank G0d my 1974 Corvette came to me with a Red interior, as can't stand black interiors (to me common & boring). My 1967 Camaro is Butternut Yellow/Black Interior. I couldn't be too picky, as it is a true legit RS/SS 4-Speed Convertible, so I accepted that color scheme.
Have to lay down towels to sit in/drive the car in the Summer heat.
Luckily my Wife's 68 Camaro is Gold/Gold interior, very pretty (yet she raped it with black seat covers-the work I'll put out to make it correct will be outstanding!).
THANKFULLY, my 85 Firebid is a tan interior as that car has more glass that builds interior heat......

Family had a 1954 Corvette (back in the 70's)
Paid $2500-$2700 for it & sold later on for some more (not much, as even today the 1953 & 1955 Vette will always command a higher price).
It was Body original except a Stewart Warner Tach in the center location (replacing the proper tach for that car).
WE NEVER HAD THE TOP UP!
It was NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO RAISE IT (from one that was able to lower his 1966 Convert top during one PA traffic light stop, from inside the car).
And after we finally got the top raised, we couldn't get in (the opening SO TINY). Forget about attaching the side windows (we left those in the bonnet!).
I learned to drive the 1954 Corvette faster than the rain drops coming over the windscreen during a rain storm. Luckily, I was getting closer to the home garage.
Fun car!
Never lost that car in a parking lot (from when one could drive an old car like that and the people respected others property).
Thanks for the memories!

Ugh...that Corvette anniversary body/interior color package BLOWS. Tan and maroon....ugh...can you get more family car/wimpy than that?? I myself am a fan of black...black leather in particular.. But I think the most sports car interior you can get is black w/ red accents. [drools]
lol back to my camaro.. yeah it has the Z03 code..i havent ever heard of a heritage being a 6 though, only 305 and the rare 350 around here.. but I dont think the 350 is stock. newho.. i was just wondering..so if anyone could tell me some production #'s or sumthin to that i'd love it
I do so like what Dick Guldstrand did to a 2003 Corvette

Still wrong color, tho.....
Z03=8197 models
ALL 1992 had 25th Anniversay emblems on their instrument panels. An exterior apperance option called the Heritage Package (Z03) included Hood/Deck stripes, body colored grille, black headlamp pockets & a special deck lid badge. Z03 was available with ALL models BUT exterior colors were limited to
Artic White, Black, Bright Red or Purple Haze (ahhh know it well
!! for Z-28's. The same colors plus Polo GreenII were available for RS models.
Retail cost was only $175.00
Info from the Camaro White Book (by Michael Antonick).
WHAT YOU DON'T OWN THIS LITTLE BOOK!!!!!
Bad move!
Find it on ebay, many camaro speciality shops & swap meets. Also Motorbook International (costs $12 or less thru other purchasing methods)
Help ya enough?
Better way to help ya would be to obtain the Chevy dealer 1992 sales floor literature.
Lucky you own one of the of 70007 Camaros produced that year

I've almost given up on how fast ya can go by spending TONS OF CASH!
IF I had tons of cash, I think I'd build my own dragstrip & invite all my friends over & over & over....
How many acres ya need for a quarter mile drag strip?
Know any old airports for sale?
OR MAYBE buy a town and close it off to SLOW DRIVERS (wonder if that'd be legal?).
I'll have to go visit his business, I hope it's on display there.

This fact proves that you could have any combination of options back in the 80s. You could actually create your own car. You can't do that anymore unless you are buying prototype.
