Junk Yard Trip

well i went to the junk yards today, didnt expect to spend money but i did, i only got a few things tho
-driverside door handle - $17
-both lift things for the hatch - $30
- and the light for the trunk $5

well that was it but there was a comaro there with 2 clairion 6X9's and thats about the only other thing worht buying.

Wow, compared to here, you got ripped. But I see you are from Canada, so parts may be harder to find. I know I got a set of rear hatch shocks for $5 each last time I was at the yard.

yeah it s in good condition, just the spring is broken so it is loose...and im in canada...a brand new handle in store is like $50 and new hatch things r like $60 or $70 each and there wernt many fbodys there

Speaking of door handles - did'ya know that you can flip the inside door handle and use it on ether side? They are held in with a little pop-rivet, U just cut that, install it with a sheetmetal screw.

haha i think everyone here is talking about hte inside door handle...i was talking about the outside one.....

Nah..........F-Body parts are common enough here.....you may have gotten raped a bit..hell, those shocks are that price NEW at Crappy Tire.

New hatch shocks at Autozone here are $30 a piece.. Autozone also has a whole wide assortment of interior door handles ranging from $5 to $10 each..some with chrome trim, some flat black...the works. Although they're all specific model numbers that are supposed to be factory style replacements and they don't have anything for Camaros or Firebirds..but I assume all or most of the GM car interior handles were standardized in fit... Exterior door handles....who knows...never seen them for sale!

And Azure....don't tell me you have a place there ACTUALLY named Crappy Tire???
