Jason E, I think that was his name sold his 3rdgen that then was smashed, now he has a 97.

Ked is still on the board with us all the time.
The rest just faded off I guess.

Well Iregistered in Jan. 2001, and I knew most of the old crew. But I would say anyone registered in 1999-2000 would be considered the old crew.

Yea I remember WaynesRS! Sup man?

I would have had my old user name but I got banned. So I had to change IP and get another name. Sucks

I used to talk to FastRS alot but I haven't heard from him in over a year. What happened to him?

3.1 Firebird is around, but busy all the time...haven't seen Graemes in a while, and FastRS is still around, but doesn't post a lot anymore.

I have been around since early 2000 for a little while. Then I just faded away for year. I had forgotten both my user name and password so I had to re-register. I don't come to this section as often as I used to, I'm more into the appearance and detailing in which I do quite a few drawings for other members and trying to approve the appearance of my thirdgen.

I hope TomP doesn't fade away because he knows a lot about the often overlooked and underappreciated rear wheel drive 60 degree V6 and how to troubleshoot, fix, and solve specific problems. TomP leaving would be like someone taking away a detailed engine manual away from me in the middle of an engine rebuild.

I have been on the board since mid 2001, but that doesn't qualify me as old.

Redraif hasn't been around for awhile has she? I wasn't crazy about all the mods of hers but I have to admit she put one hell of a lot of work into her car and did most of it herself.

How old do we need to be, to be considered "old crew"?

LOL, thanks, Devian... I just have way too much experience with these cars, that's why I know as much as I do. Keep one for 244,000 miles and you'll wind up replacing everything at least once- although how I'm on the original motor, I'm not sure. I don't plan on fading away quite so soon, but keep in mind that the GM Service Manual is a good replacement for me. It's not quite as bitchy as I am, either. As I get older, my patience level drops... I'd hate to see me in another 23 years when I hit the mid-life crisis!

Kevin, I think you're both, Old -and- Old Crew.

Monkie,
Hope things are going well for ya.
Best Thoughts and strong rays of sun for you,
Karl

About 30+ 3.4 swappers, now and growing.
I'm on 3.4 swap number two myself.
Today is installing the electric fuel pump (in temporary location) for firing up/testing/moving the (now 3.4 powered) 1985 Blazer.
I'm securly mounting the fuel pump (on frame rails) when I swap in the 1989 lower milage S-10 axle I've obtained for free (or for selling a 440 Chrysler steel crank, standard bore engine ($700) or the 1963 Lincoln Continental ($1500) or the 1991 Alfa 164L ($1500). All located in SoCal
