Iroc wheels on a v6?

i just recently purchased a set of iroc-z 5 spoke alloy wheels but didnt get them on my car yet because they need a lot of work to be road worthy. i knew they had a different offset in the rear than in the front when i bought them but i didnt really think about how they would work on my car because currently my 15x7s are the same all around. can anyone clear all this up for me? can i use them on my car or should i just resell them?

Put the rears on the back, and the fronts on the front.

I've got '87 IROC wheels on my '88 2.8

If you a complete set they will have cast into them (front) & (rear)
for correct wheel placement. These wheels can not be rotated front to back for your info....

Could someone explain offset to me?? I know about backspacing, and everytime someone explains offset, it sounds like they're talking about backspacing.

Thanks!

I run 4 rears on mine so I can rotate- to do so I also run 1/4" front spacers and 2 1/2" long ARP wheelstuds.

Offset is the distance of the bolt up face of the wheel vs the wheel centerline.

Backspacing is the distance from the wheel lip to the bolt up face.
