cost of a 3.4 lower end?
Around what would be a good price to pay for a decent 3.4 lower end?
Also when doing the 4.3 lower end and 2.8 top end, can i keep all the lower end parts to the 4.3(cam,water pump, and all that good stuff) or do i need to put the 2.8 stuff in it?

Won't work - 90º (4.3) vs 60º (2.8/3.1/3.4)
You can use a 3.1 bottom end + 3.1 pistons to have a 3.1. I believe ARI sells a 3.4 stroker, as well.

Re-reading the post, are you talking bottom end, or a longblock? (block + crank + pistons + heads)
If you mean just using your induction setup, the intake manifold won't work. The plenum might, I don't know - the injectors will be too small, too.
You realize a swap to a 4.3 and a 350 will require the same amount of work, right?

The price actually depends on alot.
Mileage on that engine.
Location in the USA\Cand.
How "proud" that yard is of the name.
Some as cheap as 200, some as high as 900.

They tend to go to late model boneyards... they charge more for everything, since it's new

is it carbed or TBI? either one produces low hp, i think 110hp, if i were u id go for a 2.8 out of a camaro or firebird just cause 1) its easier to swap in and 2) produces more power. Check the trading post if yall have that there, u can find good deals

not sure if anythings wrong with it yet really. It needs a really good TomP tune up cuz it idles kindda rough and when i pulled one of the plugs it was black. There seems to be like a rattle or knock that i can feel and hear when the clutch is in and i hit the gas a little bit but when i start to release the clutch a little to get moving the rattle or knock seems to go away.

I love this forum, i never leave unless im workin on the camaro or sleepin. Did you ever figure out what caused the rattle/knock in your nissan? I figure ill do a tune up and get all that done then go from there to hunt down problems if there is any afterwards(crosses fingers and prays)

One thing to be wary of - even the oil burning, blue-smoke-spitting, rod-knocking 2.8s will be 'strong running 2.8's to the junkyard. ALWAYS HEAR IT RUN FIRST. And ALWAYS before it is warmed up.
Personally, I'd get a 3.1 or better - a 3.4 and be ahead of the game.
