Does anyone know the top speed of a 92 RS w/ a 3.1L?

 

From what Ive heard and my own personal trials, rev limiter kicks in at I believe 115-118. Something like that.

 

I don't know, but my auto 3.1 sounds like it's gasping for air at 65.

 

thats because you need to redo the intake- just take a look under the hood and look at the intake, the size of the hole is like the size of a quarter
i did the ghetto intake one on thirdgenmods.firebirdv6.com just because it was cheaper, but im thinking of going with the dual snorkel from an earlier camaro
either way, it definately pulls at top end more

 

my 90...has exhaust mod, and intake mod, but unfortuneatly my speedometer is wrong at high speeds....my friends would be at 110 and i fly by them....and mine sayin 105....so at least 10 to 15 mph over 110 for me!!

 

121 on a 2.8/5speed, before any mods!

 

Im not even gonna say look for my previous post.

 

The stock AZTY cal for a '92 w/auto cuts out at 115 MPH and is back in at 112 MPH.

And even better is the radiator fan cut in/out temperatures: On above 226 F and off below 219 F.
