i have searched and lookled in FAQ and connot find out how much my 2.8l 86 firebird weighs, and ys i looked at thwe sticker on doorjam. it is worn off.(door used to rub) please help

'88 Camaro SC, with no power options (and as far as I know, the lightest stock Fbody) weighed in at 2950 without me, and a 1/2 tank of gas.

Just go weigh your car! That's the easiest way to know

dont know how far this will help, or is true, but I vaguely seem to remember something about thirdgen fbody firebirds being 500 pounds lighter than the second gens, which weighed in at 2 tons (4000 pounds), so that would make our cars ~ 3500 pounds, but then again, I might be wrong.

I belive "some" issues of firebirds had aluminum front bumper bracing rather then steel. So that might be where that comes from. I didn't know that tell visited a guy about 1.5 hours from me that parts these cars out, and showed it to me.
