Almost there....again.........

I have the t-pipe back on, wrestling w/the convertor. Doesn't want to go over the end of the t- pipe. Gonna take it to AZ & see if tail pipe expander will push it ou t just a touch. THen drive it to the auto hobby shop & put the dynomax on. Should sound awesome driving it w/just open convertor  Gotta use the 30 day tags while I can

I have one of those tailpipe expanders; used it on my Megs tips to expand that 2" inlet into a 2.5" inlet. Worked pretty good too... it was the less expensive $25 one from Lisle. I think they make a $40 one that has a wider range of motion, too.

yup, it stretches out the end of the pipe to make it just that much bigger. Just shove it up the pipe opening, and use an impact wrench to tighten'stretch. I just need a little due to the "physicality" of removing the stock rust cat . New cat is installed, along w/new battery :lala: :lala: :lala:

Should have cat-bak in by friday

OK, cat is on and will going tothe auto hobby shop friday night & finish the exhasut. Also got the overhead console, finally, in the mail. I t looks a lot bigger in the e-bay pics. Only one main problem w/it.....the flashlight has "camaro" on it

Question for those who have this item: the wiring for the dome light on/off switch, there is a white white wire...what does this go to/get conected to? There is a black & red wire, I figured those connections easi;y, but the white wire is a to me.

Did you really pay $100+ for one of them overhead console???

I see a 10 year old one for for $95, and another used one for $120.

It does not seam worth it for what little you get.

I will make sure and look for them suckers. Doesnt JCwhitney make ones like that???
They are "universal" but geese. a 10 year old used part for any thirdgen should not be that much.

I am sure its nice as the center counsol fills up quick. I got about 90lbs of chage in mine. and Only thing that will stay in my dash pocket is the stock owners manual.

it's not really meant for "functional" use. per say. it does have a domelight in the back for the nether regions, a swivel single dome for the font, a very useful flashlight (that otherwise would take up space in the cemter console or get lost anywhere else), and some very "high tech" numbers/word things to keep track of appts/gas millage, etc. that parts a novelty, but then, how cars do have this option???
