Engine temperature

I'm just wondering what temp most of you guys run at...I just did the engine swap thing and now the guage actually works. So what do you guys run at?
What is considered overheating anyways?

Mine fan kicks on at 220* & kicks off at 200*.
With AC on the fan kicks on.
MAKE SURE all air dams in place.

My Car runs at 190* fan kicks on at 190*

all air dams?
How many are there and where are they...I know the one on the bottom that scrapes on the ground all the time...what other ones are there?

Yeah, mine's never been above 220 as far as I can tell, and usually runs at about 180ish

Transmission: A bad one & a good one
Axle/Gears: A weak one & a chained one
You've got a camaro, so you've only got one. As long as the center one is in place, you're alright. Some Firebirds/Trans Ams came with 3 piece air dams...2 sides and a center. The center is the primary piece though...that's what really gets the job done. You'd be amazed how much higher the engine temp is around the city just by removing that piece. It blew my mind.

This is my TEMP air cooling dam. TEMPORARY!!!
It's a rain gutter YET this is very effective.
Next pic shows the finished product for installation.

This is the air dam/cooling I will be installing ONCE I finish restoring/sanding/repainting the "new" nose I have.
