And I thought they were all gung ho for the header sales...
You would think that they would have them out in a week, not 90 days!

i didnt say anything about the Y-pipe. im just talking about getting the headers man. read my post and you can see that. i ordered my headers 3 months ago and they were suppose to be done in a couple weeks. normally i wouldnt care cuz they were custom made and all that but everytime i called i just got a bunch of crap. hell they were done and sittin in his shop for a good 2 weeks before they even got boxed to be shipped. overall the service i received was just bad. he had to make to sets in order to get them right and i apprecieate the fact he didnt want to send me some crap headers but i only found that out cuz i had to call him, i just think he shouldve kept me more updated on it. i think for the price(which im not complaing about cuz i wanted them either way) the service shouldve just been a little better.

As someone who knows the guys at PF&E personally I can tell you that they are very busy guys. I know it doesn't justify anything but I can tell you its becoming a handful for Greg but he keeps working day after day until what? 9PM? Longer on some nights. So its not like he's out kicking back on the beach spending your money or anything. He's working very hard to improve service and will always try and resolve a problem or concern you may have.

Remember Greg... PROMISE LATE AND DELIVER EARLY! Remember anything you order usually has a 4-6 week delivery, so he wasn't that bad considering his situation.

I hope everyone that has ordered a set is happy with the product. I took it upon myself to market them to you and a nice product is what you should expect and receive. Greg has gone above and beyond in making this happen by dedicating his time and his vehicle, not to mention handling all the calls and shipping out the product. So he is pretty much running a one man operation until they get the staff problem rectified. Give him a little credit If it weren't for these headers you really wouldn't have had an alternative unless you wanted some hookie stuff.

Thanks for your patience and to Greg for your hard work. I think these guys owe you a little gratitude and understanding for making this all happen. Remember... good things come to those who wait

Oh and to the "other guy" that used to make headers... I told ya they would be made. And I told you that people would buy them. Well, here Greg is making them. And here the customers are buying them. Much better product and service than you've provided in the past... Glad we could accomodate the members of this board. All we wanted to do from the beginning is help out and give you what you wanted. Well, you got it Thanks again for your hard work Greg. :hail:

Sorry to the mods if this looks like a flame post but I just couldn't help myself. Don't lock the thread, just delete or modify my post if it seems out of line to you. Thanks.

I'll wait for the Pace setters.
Cheaper, better, and smog legal.

And not matter the condition of the shop, if an order is placed it is the shops owner to make sure things are delivered in a timely manner. Sorry but I peronally do not consider 12 weeks a timely manner. Unless it was being shipped from Japan...

well this topic will probably be locked eventually but i have a few things to say. first off the only reason im a little annoyed with greg is becuase he didnt keep me updated on the progress. i was very patient with him and im not usually like that especially after 3 months. im a big fan of customer service(i used to do it) and i feel that its the most important part of running a business. so apperently he had some problems in the shop, hey thats cool things happen....but i was never told of anything that would delay my order other than the fact the first set didn fit right(had to call to find that one out) but the fact that he didnt send me a crap set of headers is why i still believe he has the best product. the pacesetter headers will probably be made and mass produced but when has a mass produced product ever been any good. custom jobs are always best becuase the person making them takes pride in his work. yeah i spent a lot of money on these headers but they are probably the best i coudlve gotten. it seems as though the only person who knew what was going on was agood2.8 and he posted a lot of stuff but i cant always check on here my computer sucks. and a note for socialdevient me and him have headers.....your still waiting i hope he continues to make good products for us with the V6....i know that whatever he makes ill be interested in, just want to know whats up next time. thanks to both greg and iroc57tpi for informing us all. i have to say i jumped for joy when they arrived today....good things do come to those who wait.

Give Greg a call at 586-949-3400 he may be interested. If not he can keep your number in case a customer needs your services. Can you burn chips right or are you basically new at it? I need my 5.7 chipped when we go to twin turbos possibly next year.

If you would wait a year for those... then you would definately be better off with the pace setters... And they are saying production in another month or so...

Maybe it's just me, but if it were half the price and took 2-3 months, I would not mind that much, just as long as I was kept up to date on them. But if things went 2+ months with no word at all... Sorry but time to make a few "legal" calls.

i have heard from many other boards that the headers they make for the 3.4's are crap. It seems like the people at this board are the only ones who think they are good.

We have heard you thoughts on this subject many times- Here's the thing I don't get:

1) you claim not to be CHC
2)However, you have such a determined effort against these guys making headers. May I politely ask you- Why? All of you post certainly show you to have a hidden agenda.

you realize you are pushing a subject that you were warned not to say one more word about or you will be banned???

Is it really worth it. Just let it go dude. Disagree on the headeres but drop the CHC connection no matter how much it connects.

breath deep and let it go.

no one will ever wait for a year, a month at most now. hopefully within a week and a half there should be no wait at all. i can understand the want for emission legal headers. i am providing 304 stainless headers with 3/8 thick flanges that are a superior product for a decent price. i am going to look at certifing them as a package with cylinder heads, cam, and a chip. i know my products work i have picked up good power gains and 4 to 5 miles per gallon with everything i have done to my car. as a side note i have never took money before the headers were done.

no but it makes me consider your hidden agenda on how you wont let it go or drop it when the mods told you not to say another word, either of ya. You have some sort of agenda to outs him for what ever reason, and its doesn't seam like a friendly one.

I don't see why you would push a subject that has been banned???

you wanna get banned from the board go right ahead.

Matt
