Like mentioned earlier, the cat may be coated so much it is useless now . Time to take advantage of the lifetime warranty.
This is from about 5 runs at idle, & reving it a bit.

Cool, looks like you got osme carbon out of that sucker. We had a big thread about that over at V8Buick.com between the GM upper engine cleaner and a simple glass of water.

I read the thread on V8buick.com and I've decided that a can of Sea Foam sounds like a great idea.

That sucks, but at least the exhaust tips look sweet.

Ha ha....good thing you HAVE tips, that way it sprays it away from the car. If that were to happen on mine....well...I'd have some really nasty upper control arms.

I bet it's not just the cat that's coated- Your oxygen sensor is probably plugged up, too.

I don't know. That egr soliniod vacuum box thing got cooked,& I haven't tested the egr vacuum yet, but maybe tonight. It does stumble when I manually push up on the diaphram though. I'm getting ZERO codes for O2 sensor, even though I've had all 3 hooked up. Currently I have the highest reading one hooked up as it will register a richer condition to the ecm. I swappeed tb w/my spare, & the back of the throttle plate on the old one is coated w/that crap. Even the tip of the IAC was nice & black

Right now I'm finishing up the interior, running it occasionally to keep bat charged.
