Coolant dump point ...?

Need a good location to route the turbo's waste coolant... I'm thinking tapping/welding a 3/8" hose barb onto the thermostat housing.. anyone have a better idea?

nit sure how you have it all arranged but i tihnk i'd route it to whatever would be the shortest distance, maybe back to the intake. personally i don't like the looks of extra lines or senders on the t stat hat. you can buy one already tapped for less than 10 dollars. and save the time and effort of doing it yourself

I don't like the looks of extra crap anywhere in an engine bay.. but the turbo kinda shoots that right out the window anyway
I think I'd just drill/weld the barb before paying for one.. tools are readily available..

What about the heater core plumbing?? You have a come and go for it. Will keep it low so you also get gravity helping you on the dump.

Does the heater return actually have a pull to it, or is it just being pushed through by the inlet force?

heater return is most likely being pushed. On the Poncho 400, for example, the heater return goes into the pass head.

edit: or at least mine did.

So if its being pushed thru, that wont work because it would try and push it back into the turbo. Didnt even think of that.

Damn, I tryed
