the cheapest ones Advance Carries, i think they are autolites.

Anyways, spark plugs dont really make any difference at all, unless you have like really high compression or boost.

Using bosch 4+, work fine for me, i've heard complaints about these, been on for about 700 miles now and still runs good, I didn't see any difference like they say, I wish I would have gone with some cheaper ones .

i READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT THE +4'S AND THEY SAID THAT THE SPARK WILL GO TO THE CLOSEST GROUND AND THE OTHER 3 PRAWNS WOULD GET A SLIGHT SPARK. THEY SHOWED A PICTURE OF IT TO. I say NGK and Denso plugs are good for imports im not a fan of bosh. Motocraft with ford etc AC with GM thats just how i feel. I also like the Champion Truck Plug i put that in my friends Jeep runs great with them.

Whatever works usually

Right now I'm using some inexpensive Bosch Platinums, a buck a plug, lifetime warranty....I like that.

I know Schucks, Knechts and a couple other auto part stores in that chain should sell them. I also found them at Napa but they had to "special order" them for me. I think they're a pretty good plug. I also run them in my 1988 IROC 350TPI and in my 1979 Subaru 4WD wagon. I haven't had a problem with them yet and it also seemed to give my v6 Camaro a little more power

Well that's the same thing with Splitfires. Electricity ALWAYS takes the shortest path. In fact, Splitfire never claimed the spark would "split"! The point of a splitfire (and I believe the Bosch +4's) is that more of the "spark" is exposed to the a/f mix, without being covered up by a thick electrode.

Plus, with 2 or 4 points, theoretically, when one point wears down, the spark will use the other points- the plug should last longer.

As for me, I ran splitfires for years, since '94... when I got the msd box in 2000, the center electrode started wearing away FAST. So I switched to AC/Delco R45TS's- and they have the same problem. Oh well.

I currently run standard acdelcos in mine.

In my s10 enigne, I ran champion truck plugs. Ran nicely up front, wore off fast, and like crap.

Then went to acdelco rapid fires. Did same thing, but lasted tad longer.

standard ones run not as good up front, but last 4x as long.

New engine, I'm going to try some halos.

I run the MSD wires and brass cap and rotor from autozone. Only problem i ever have is my number 3 wire melts because of where the egr is on the car its a 3.1 the msdwires are the only ones that hold up all the other ones melted apart. I sent msd my wire set back because that wire melted and they sent me a new set free of charge.

Yeah, it's true. All the standard plugs are Delco but most of the platinum and iridium plugs are NGK or Denso. They come in a Delco box and even say ACDelco on the porcelain but if you look closely it'll say NGK or Denso on the metal part.

I had AC Rapidfire plugs but then once they were in for about 30k I replaced them with the AC Professional Platinum plugs which seem to run about the same as the Rapidfire in my own opinion. I've kept track of my gas mileage and other various things for 3 years in an excel spreadsheet. I have not noticed much difference in gas mileage from one set of plugs to the other.

It might have been this board or the v8 board where a guy was using split fire plugs and MSD box 6a.

The guy said the results were scary w/ dual flame fronts and the spark wasn't jumping to the split, but rather to the stem before the bend and had almost burned it off.

TomP is 100% right electricity finds the shortest path.

Good old Delco for me. But always check the gap even though they come pre gaped, I've found some that where to close.
