2.8 Injectors: Ford SVO v/s Fiero ADS?.

I think the most common injectors upgrades for 2.8, 3.1 & 3.4 V6s are the Ford SVO 19 lbs/hr (O.K.?). But, what about the "ADS super injectors" for Pontiac Fiero V6?.

Anny comments will be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Denis V.

Why are you upgrading the 2.8 injectors anyway? They don't go static on me until about 5 psi @ 5000 rpm... I seriously doubt you're pushing their limits... at any rate, I recognize SVO as the superior of the two, having no information or known feedback on the ADS injectors.

Well, I only wish know if an injector upgrade is a common "good idea" for more power in any V6. If not, they can remains the same.

Thanks,

Upgrading fuel injectors only results in a performance gain when the existing fuel injectors are simply incapable of supplying the neccessary amount of fuel to the motor... you'd need a 2.8 capable of spinning to at least 6500 rpm, or a turbo or supercharger, to start concerning yourself too much

That is a question of maintainence, not performance modification.. do you consider changing your spark plugs a performance modification too?

We'll see... I've got a set of 6 Iridium plugs waiting to go in.
