ball joints? but these cars have struts??? hmmm
I had a 79 Duster that did that and it was a worn out upper ball. When your turned sharp it poped in and out.
Had a 68 Ford that would click n pop real bad when you turned sharp, never found out what it was and traded it for a 9sec drag bike.
My Firebird doesn't have any problem like that but I notice our cars are able to over steer. You can turn the wheel beyond any realistic turning radius and the tires just skip n hop when you turn around.
I wonder if maybe your feeling that but worse from some lose suspension parts?
I seriously think I / we[the board] need to come up with a steering stop of sorts. If you over steered at speed the results would be worse.

how wide are your front tires? it may be that they are hitting the framerails and lifting up the front end, my car does this pretty bad i have to discipline myself no to turn too far, no u-turns for me.

I agree w/Dale; instead of U-turns, make a K-turn. (Besides, a K-turn is legal- at least in NJ, U-turns are illegal). Might as well have an alignment done if it's been a while.
Like 2.73's said, the front tires' sidewalls can rub the inner fender; there's no "fix" for that, it's normal.

ok the tire size is p275/65/15 and it's not hitting the side wall because there's no marks on the tire or inside the fender however the outside edges of both tires are worn out.Any sugestion?

alighnment out, or something worn so that your alignment cant be corrected.
When was last time for alignment?
Check all your wheelbearings, ball joints, etc.
Find empty parkinglot, have someone else try to duplicate problem while you watch, vise/versa.
It still could be the tire rolling over.

I have P225/60r15's on the front, before that, I had P215/65r15's on the front- and I've always had this bounce thing at full lock- even after rebuilding the whole suspension, and even after millions of alignments.Just do a K-turn instead.
Wait- P275/65r15's aren't rubbing the inner fender? Wow.
Oh and as for the outer sidewall being worn; that happens with our cars, nothing you can do about it- it's b/c of the suspension design. It's a good way to knock a few bucks off of a used f-body, though ("And look at those tires! I need to buy new ones and get an alignment; take $200 off and you've got a deal")

not 275 it's 215. So about the tire rolling over what can i do to correct that? And the car since i got last april never relly did not to it .I'll thake the front brakes down this weekend and change the pads and rotor. While there i'll take a look for something worn out.About the bearings doesn't feel that but anyway i will check
A bad ball joint wont cause this problem, unless its shot to the point where it creates so much camber roll, that the tire is practically riding on the sidewall. As for inner fender well scrapeage, the stock 215's have tons of clearance, so I dont see how that would be it.
Also, I thought our wheel bearings werent serviceable?

they're definately serviceable, you can get to them upon removing the brake rotor.

Well, there can't be other cars on the road!
What do you guys do when you need to change direction on a skinny street? Drive over someone's lawn?
I've never done K-turns like Nixon1 described tho, I don't pull into a side street. I just do 'em on the road. Hey this was the quickest pic I ever drew, took me under a minute! I can nail this pretty damn fast- and that's without slamming the trans around.
Hey- wait- you guys are scaring me, this is basic driving 101, isn't it??

umm. i just, you know, turn around.
as long as there is two lanes worth of road, you have enough room.
athough what you described, is fine.... athough thats just your regular 3 point turn.
and yes. i have driven over peoples lawns. want to play basketball in the street and not move? fine. i'll go play in the yard.

Nice vid.
I used to do that, but the problem now is my rear tires are very grippy and the fronts are very slidy. So I hit the gas, the car pushes forward and understeers, then the front tires slide. Imagine hydroplaning.....on a dry surface....at 5 mph.
Oh and Tom, I only described the K-turn in reference to a 4-way or T junction because those are the only instances where I see a U-turn being plausible...I was comparing. Lol....I do the good old 3-pointer all the time, although I usually try to find a driveway. An empty driveway.

dont worry just try to avoid u-turns, i hate doing u turns in my car, especially when the street is wet, my tires tend to slip when i have my wheel cut all the way and end up going straight rather then turning
, you want to do simple u turns get a honda civic
