Ok...Im out to build the fastest v6 stock suspension car out there... engine will be about 280inches splayed valve etc etc..all the good stuff where do i get headers for this thing?? Do i gotta build em or does somebody make some? I saw some that were 1 1/2 but i think that might be too small for this application...where do i get valve covers for those heads? Or is that another thing i gotta make? For the chassis ive got
BMR extreme duty torque arm
BMR rear anti roll bar
BMR extreme control arms
Jegs 12 point cage
Competiton Engineering Subframe connectors

What else should i get? Whats the fastest v6 camaro out there right now in the 1/8 and or 1/4?

ok with all that suspension stuff listed there, its not gonna be a 280 horse stock suspension car
but, pacesetter makes headers for our cars and the valve covers should probably be feiro valve covers or edelbrock

If the primaries on the pacesetter headers are too small for your application, you'll have to build your own. Pacesetter is our only ray of sunshine- they're the only company that makes headers for our 2.8/3.1/3.4 in an f-body.
I believe Hooker (or Heddman) makes a set of 2.8 headers for an S10 truck, but the headers won't fit our engine bay, so you'll have to do alot of bending- and they might have the same size primaries.

Yes, he's gotta be, Dean... the 3.4 is only 207ci.
Maybe a 3.8? TTA setup? Who knows....

im buying the block and heads from pace performace and all the other stuff from my usual suppliers...just the intake is $2400....i figure it will be in the 650-700 hp range if not more i really havent messed with v6's before. We have a 281 inch v8 chevy motor that makes close to 800hp and thats not a splayed valve head...im gonna have the intake already drilled for juice just put plug in it untill im ready. I can also run this motor in a pro stock cavalier in nhra comp elim...similar motor has went some 8.40's in the 1/4...i just want to bust some moostang *** around here...they are runnin in the 6.50 range in 1/8 i think i can run in the 6.00 range on motor if the car works right

if he is talking about a 60*, on the valve cover subject, the fierro covers are a no go because he says splayed valves which would have to be the aluminum heads. i don't know about any valve covers for them. the old hooker headers for our v6 have smaller primaries than the new pacesetters do.
i'm also a little confused on the "fastest v6 stock suspension car out there..." here's all of my suspension mods...
edit: just read his 2nd post, this has got to be a 90* motor if he's buying the block and intake and all like he says. also, for tranny (listed under username) it says torqueflite 3 speed. that doesn't sound like anything i know of behind a 60* motor.

yes it is the 90 degree motor....it is considered stock suspension because its bolt on in stock loaction just aftermarket parts. Its not going to be 4 link or ladder bar or swing arm type deal..."stock"
