just got a 91rs!

Hey everybody,

Yesterday I purchased a 1991 Rs Camaro. So far i could not be any happier, it is in great shape and completely rust free. Being from upstate ny, where winter seems to be the longest season, a rust free car is hard to find. It is a v6 that has never seen winters, which i plan to keep that way. Well i just thought that i would say hi and tell a little bit about myself and my car.

(I tried to post a pic, but it wouldnt make the topic. I read how to post a picture and all so dont be mean . i tried going into browse and trying to attach it, but no luck.)

Cool, I just bought a '90 RS with a 3.1, Im in a little more of a warmer climate (FL) so I get to drive mine now Body's a little rough with some scratches chips and a couple of minor dents but it has under a hundred thousand miles on it so I think I got a pretty good deal. I look foward to spending lots of my hard earned money on it

Thanks for the welcome. Im really excited about the car. It is my first car, therefore I am not to terrible concerened that it is a v6. Everything comes with time. I have plenty of time to build my dream car and or a high performance car. Right now I am just greatful that I have such a nice car.

Heres a pic(hopefully)

Dusty- i live in penfield..im sure you know where that is. the car though is going to stay off the road untill the summer. Perhaps around then we could get in touch for a little get together, or meet up at a local cruise night or something like that.

I think i finally figured out how to post a picture! i decided to make a really quick page on car domain so that i could take the pic from online not from my computer. Here ya go!(the picture was taken by the previous owner. the weather has been pretty crappy lately. when we get a nice sunny day i will go out and take some more pictures)

very clean. You must have a different interiour package level then mine, or someone installed some z parts.

seats are totally different.
You have a carpeted center consoule (sp?). I had to make mine that way

Noticed the nose emblem is gone too
Possibly a z grill also? ( see a toggle switch in dash, not sure if thats for fog lights or rear defrost)

hmmm... not sure. Although i know a previous owner had the car repainted, that is why the nose emblem is gone.
