horn probably died. check it for power when you push it. if theres power to em, get a new horn.

use a test light and disconnect the connector. have a friend press the horn and one side will light up, that means you have power and the horn is bad. if you dont have power on either side, then you dont have power getting to the horn and have a problem in the wiring.

In my camaro they use plastic buttons over time they get brittle and brake like mine did. They just pop out how ever where the connecto goes into the steering shaft i broke the plastic clip off so i have no horn anymore.

my horn broke, the shop told me it would cost 1100 to fix it caz of the airbag. so i had to get a button that bolted to the dash to use to make the horn work. Looks like ****

Disconnect the battary. Then below the dash there is a yellow wire disconnect it that will disconnect your air bag so it will not go off. Then thake a allen wrench and remove the allen bolts from behind the steering wheel 4 bolts. The air bag will come off and you will see in the corners the contacts for the horn you can get new ones from GM about 15 dollars put them in and you are good to go.

YES! Just the thread I needed. Everywhere around here wont pass me unless I have a horn but I have lots of problems that are my fault lol, but I dont wanna deal with just to get the horn to work. My column the thin that sticks through the steering wheel is busted off because it wouldnt go in my wheel right, as well as now I have a 91 Airbag wheel on my car, and it doesnt have the horn contacts in it. 91GreenBird HOW DID YOU DO THAT?? lol I have extra buttons laying around and I wanna do this. I'll hide it pretty good, just gotta prove that my stupid horn works lol

You'd have to dig out the horn wires from the column and just wire them to a button. There might just be one wire; and the other terminal of your button would go to the chassis for a ground.

--Wait, you've got a '91 airbag wheel on there? Why? Is the airbag still inside? If so, sell it on eBay and buy a Grant steering wheel; I think their cheapest nice-looking wheel is $40. Add the horn button kit for $20 and you have a much better looking wheel with a working horn.

Such as:
$43, http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...part=GRT%2D415
and
$13, http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...art=GRT%2D5640

I think the horn button comes with wires and everything, check with Summit first tho.

I got the airbag one because i love the way it looks and feels I hate grant ones lol

It's more than just my steering wheel lack of horn buttons. Its that my column is missing pieces too
