air intake..#2

ok, so i'll keep the duel snorkel{i think it looks better anyway}, i ported and polished the plenum,and intake manifold...anything i missed on the intake side?

I only wouldn't polish the lower intake because the injectors are placed there and where the injector sprays, a polished surface will actually pull some of the fuel out of the atomization mixture cause it clings to it.

And did you glassbead the intake or anything? Just another horror story I've heard....guy bought an intake off ebay that was glassbeaded, but the intake was never clenaed up or flushed afterwards, and sent particles from the process through the motor......he blew 2 motors before he realized his intake was the problem

no, no glass beading........ on the plenum, i had to cut out a chunk,.... mill it to the new sizes,... then made a piece out of stainless to fit back, and inclose the cut-out.... { it turned out pretty bitchen for my first time}..... and of course gasket matched and did the bottom manifold....

You got any photos of what you did? It is always hard for me to visualize descriptions like this.
I have a spare plenum that I can play with, so want to do something to it.
