What does the car idle at right now?

does the light only come on when you start the car, then go off after it's been running a few seconds or does it come on after the car has been runnign for a little while?

OK, that makes sense. The code actauly means that the ECM cannot achieve the desired idle RPM. The very first thing you should do is check of vacuum leaks. This is easy to do, just get a can of Brakleen or something similar (carb cleaner will do) and spray it around the intake and all the hoses. if the idle goes up or smooths out, there's a leak where you just sprayed.

also make sure that your minimum idle speed is set right. if you have the sto pscrew out too far, then the Throttle plate won't close fully and raise the idle and even with the IAC fully closed, the computer can't compensate.

My money is on the vacuum leak though because you described a little idle hunting.

Good luck with that
Jeff

if you don't find any leaks, then the motor itself is probably bad and need to be cleaned, and in the worst case, replaced.

OK THAKS FOR THE ADVICE I WILL CHECK FOR VAC LEAK SO IF THIIS IS THE CASE THEN MY I.A.C COULD REALY IN TURN BE OK?
ILL EVEN MESS WITH THE STOP SCREW., THIS WOULD BE THE "MINAMAL IDEL SPEED RIGHT????
