Re: Little Progress on the 3.4

after a few years of downtime i have finally gotten back to work on the motor, just a little bit more powder coating and clean up in the engine bay and i can put the motor in.

have a question though, i cant remember why we cant use the 3.4 fuel rail...anyone remember?

also has anyone made an upgraded dist. for our motor yet?

Re: Little Progress on the 3.4

4 year hiatus, hu? Wow. There's definately upgraded ignition out there- DIS. You have a 3.4, why do you want to keep the distributor? What are you planning for this thing?

Re: Little Progress on the 3.4

yeah ya know...bought a house got a real job..took awhile to get things up and going so i could start on the car again.

im keeping the dist one becuase i threw away all the old 3.4 parts i didnt need years ago and its easier to just us a dist on my setup.

the plan is still to use a turbo on this set up, search my old posts and you can see the parts list

Re: Little Progress on the 3.4

You should check out code 59. It was created with forced induction in mind.

Ooo, pretty. I'm not fond of the choice of induction, but it certainly looks cool.
