Quick question

I did a search but i dont think i search for the right thing...


That sensor by the oil filter is called the Oil pressure sender right???

I'm trying to remember the 82-84's... but yes, I think there's just a single one-wire sensor in that spot, right? And it goes into the oil filter mount? If so, that's the pressure sender.

Should be easy to check; I believe if you unhook it and then start the car, your oil light comes on (because it sees 0 volts).

85-92's have different setups then your car...

If its running a light, rather than a gauge, it'd be a switch, not a sensor.

the berly has the guadge so its a sensor right? ( so i should ask for an oil pressure sensor?)

or sending unit... Since its a Berlinetta you might run into an issue finding the right part since it might be different for a digital dash. But then since its an 83 your car shouldn't have the digital dash so you need the same sending unit as any Camaro with full instrumentation. Confused yet?
