someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the enignes are batch fire, so left side, lef, others right. They should "fall" towards which ever side they've been on for the last decade+

The wires are old enough and the wire lengths are specific enough that you can just lay them down and they will basically fall into place. I didn't mark mine when I did my 3.4 swap... I had no 2nd thoughts about what went where.

same here, i have never labled them. if you place the other connectors on that harness where they go the injector wires should be close enough to figure out.
and project: they ARE batch fire. left side right side. on my TPI it's the same way. infact about halfway up the harness the one wire splits into 4 (or 3 on a v6) and goes from there.

Yea, gas is wasted with MPFI, and SFI didn't come out until '93 with the 3.4s in fourth gens. SFI only fires the appropriate injector for the cylinder that is going to be fired next. Thats why the heavier 4th gens with the bigger v6s still had good MPG ratings. Another reason to swap to that setup besides the speed density benifit.
