Friend and I have this argument going on at school, about whos car would win in a drag race. He has a 95 corolla, 1.8 liter, Cold Air Intake and a tuner muffler.
I have a 92 camaro, 3.1 Liter, Cold Air Intake, Dynomax exhaust system and a magnaflow converter.
Which car would win in a race? Both cars are automatics.

 

I have no personal experience with "Imports" , the only thing that I can think of that he's got on you would be weight, and even so, I still wouldnt think a 1.8 could stand up to a 3.1.

 

95 corolla 1.8L is like 105HP 110TQ

92 Camaro 3.L is 140HP and 185TQ

if he beats you, your car is dying.... unless his car only weighs like 2200lbs or somthing....

Why do people still ask these questions, go to the track, line up and tell us who wins, better yet, go to the track line up and just see who wins, don't post about it, we don't care.

 

he gots some mods it might be around 160-180hp, plus that torque will help off the line. get a vid of it

 

I was saying that unless his car is messed up the corolla shouldnt win

but I shouldnt have lost to a focus either when I had my bird running. (granted I was only getting about 13psi of oil pressure ^_^ damn oil pump...

 

what other mods does he have? dragon stickers and NOS floor mats? if hes putting down hp numbers like that, he better have more than what you listed, a lot more.

 

 

your car should win no problamo. his mods dont give him any more power to his motor than what yours do.
