pull hard. the inside of the cap probably cracked and swelled up. It happens. But you'll need to buy a new one anyway cause you'll either destroy it getting it off or you won't be able to put it back on. It happens.

down the dipstick? You could pull the distributor out too! Lol. I don't know of any way other than those. Good luck!

Too much oil and it starts hitting the rotating assembly and foaming.... which is never good.

stick a pan under the oil drain, and loosen it to the point where oil is coming out, but you can tighten it a tad to stop it.

They make a special sucker that you can buy and stick down the dipstick tube. I have one at work and it only cost like $15, but I had to order it online. I'll see if I can find the site again if you want.

Another thing to do, find a 4th gen at junkyard and get the oil filler neck and cap. It's basically an extension that fits pretty snuggly into the valve cover, and the cap comes off easily. I put in on my 2.8 valve cover when I did the swap. It actually bolts to a bracket on the 3.4 valve cover, but I used my 2.8 valve covers. I think it was because they were already installed when I decided to use the neck.

I too hated trying to get my oil filler cap off and on.

S10's have the same kind of setup. Kinda nice cause its easy to fill. Did you have to swap the covers too? The S10 covers you would have to.

Nope, the tube fit in just as tight as the cap did (really tight).

if that's the first time filling ur car seeing how the cap never came off b4 u might have to wait a few to let the oil go down or else it will look high.
