The drums will make a big difference, isn't the formula: 1lb of unsprung weight = 10lbs of sprung weight?

200+ shipping on the pipes its only the hot pipes, u would still have to make ur own intercooler pipes, if i decide to redo my intercooler and pipes i can include those for another 200$'s(inetrcooler, pipes and bov) then all u will need to buy is the turbo/wastegate and oil lines

for the extra 200 after would that include the pipes and the intercooler etc or just the pipe. cuz i would really really really be interested if it included all the stuff cuz thats one of my biggest problems with a turbo project, i dont have the fab skills.

Re: gonne be parting out the 89 soon

If ya end up swaping fans or running better id needs one off a 6 or 8. Just really need the plastic parts. The motors unbolts / screws, when ya go to buy a new one thats all they hand ya is a motor.

N E way motor can be removed to save weight if ya end up with extra one.

could alsp swap on powder coating if you wish.
Have done that before here for a few folks.

Re: gonne be parting out the 89 soon

Its ok. I didnt mean to get up your *** about it I am just really anxious to get this thing back on the road again and with most of the custom fab stuff done it makes it alot easier on me. And the time thing works out great as I only have two weeks of classes then a week of finals then I am home for the summer. JW, How much modification do you think I will need to do to fit an 86 bird?

Dave I see in your sticky that your battery is on the other side. That would be just a simple battery relocation. Any news on fitting the intercooler to a firebird? My front air dam is long gone so if a custom one is needed then that should be no problem.

Hey Dave I was thinking. Since my car has the battery on the drivers side how much trouble would it be to modify the pipes so I wouldnt have to relocate the battery? I didnt know if it would be more trouble than what you would go thru to fit the new intercooler
