A/C Eliminator Pulley For The 3.1 Available?
A/C Eliminator Pulley For The 3.1 Available?
I've searched high and low, does anyone know where I can get an air condioner delete pulley setup for a 91 Camaro 3.1? I've found stuff for the 3.4s, but that's no help to me. Thanks

Can't you just get a shorter belt instead of getting a !AC pulley? I know on my 2.8 it gives a pic of the belt route with or without AC.

Maybe I missed it, but all I saw at the Summit website was a setup for the 2.8 and the 3.4. If anyone know the correct Summit part # please post it.

Got to the auto parts store and ask for a belt. When they ask you if you have A/C, tell them no and route your belt according to the diagram above the radiator. This will cost less time and money then getting the delete pulley. Is there a reason you want to keep the long belt unnecessarily?

I bought one for my new v8 off ebay for 40. It says it is to fit v6's as well as the pumps are extreamly similar.
Been on 2 weeks and working fine.

Dale: What brand did you buy, and for what year?
And yes, I now have crank pulley, water pump, alternator, and idler. I want the a/c pulley as I don't think the bend around the water pump is enough for a good grab.

I used a seamstress' measuring tape to determine the length of my new belt after I got rid of my smog pump. BTW, my car has no A/C from the factory and has no delete pulley.
