Horrible Exhaust Smell

I pasted my buddy tonite and he said that when i went by my exhaust smelled horrible like unburnt gas. Is this a timing issue? IVe replaced the tps, map sensor. The car is a 1992 camaro 3.1 automatic, it has headers and a gutted cat.

Re: Horrible Exhaust Smell

It could be the gutted cat, I know that my car runs rich if I let off fast after WOT, the fuel pressure doesn't like to change that quickly I guess. With the gutted cat all of the unburnt gas isn't absorbed like it would be.
