Gents, my first post...I am stumped. All of a sudden, my fuel pump wont turn on with the ignition. 12 volts to the ADL and relays and it turns on just fine. Checked the fuses next to the battery and swapped out the relays with new??? Everything runs as normal except the check enginge light is not coming on and no fuel pump....after scouring the message boards I am stuck with no solution. Any Help would be great!

Try and locate a good ECM and see if it changes..make sure its the correct number and close to the year for your car.
I was afraid that would be the next step...ECM replacement. Thanks a million! I'll post any luck I have....seems I am not the only one with this issue!

i am having a similar prob but my ses light works does this mean that the ecm is fine. the car ran then sat for about a month then no start and no fuel pump whine with ignition on. i replaced the fuel pump about 6 months ago and could not get the solder to stick so i put a butt connector. the only thing i could think is the gas ate that butt connector so no hot wire is connected to the pump. i was hoping not to have to drop that tank again

check the fuse under the hood, on the rigth side pass fender up front. looks like a weather pack connector, has a fuse in it. Are a few up there hidden for your asmument of finding them.

find the trigger wire on the relay and see if it gets 12 volts when u put the key in run and crank. u can also test that wire for continuity from the relay side back to the ecm

You can hot wire it to see if it works.
Pull the carpet up behind the back seat.
I had problem with my bulk head connector for it.
Just make sure when you hot wire it, you unhook it from the harness.
It will blow that fuse up front.

Oops I forgot the reason I can do that is I have an access hole back there.
3 wires run through the body in the rear via a bulk head, a 12v power, a ground and the fuel gauge.
You unhook the 12v and ground. Use like a power line run to an amp for a temp power source to see if the pump works. Just ground the neg to the body.
leave the fuel sending wire alone.
