Car: 2001 Malibu
2.8 MFI Dist. Position

I need some info. On Distributor Position for my 1986 Camaro Sport Coupe 2.8 MFI.
Got the car for $ 150.00 Timing cover off & distriutor removed.
New chain (in time) Dist. rotor Pointing at #1 , @ 10 BTDC The module Faces Trans Dipstick ( S.O.B. To Lock Down ).Think I May be out A tooth Or So.Any Pics Or descriptions Welcome !

Mine points more towards the passenger corner or the intake. Really you can have it pointed anywhere as long as you set the cap in the right place. Where you are you won't have as much adjustment for the timing I would think.
