Are the oil pans interchangable?

Swapped in a 3.4 and kept the 3.4 setup on front of engine. Stripped out the plug and it broke off on the inside and I want to know if a 2.8 pan will work for me.

Thanks in advance!

The 2.8 pan will work. I hear that the 3.4 pans are hit or miss for fitting our k member. The 3.4 block is the same as the 2.8 externally.

Cool thanks! It is a tight fix and I know when I had teh 2.8 in there it wasn't as hard to get it out. So I will be getting a 2.8 pan and use it instead of trying to find a 3.4 pan.
