Turbo?
Turbo?
i was talking to a friend of mine and he said that if i want to get power out of my 88 2.8 mpfi that i should throw a turbo on it. Is this a good idea, and if so where is one that isn't really expaensive thanks

Re: Turbo?
well i would like to stay below 1,000 if possible, and i can install it myself, i do all of my own work on my car. but im wondering if it would be better to just get a 350 and do a swap. but since i figure gas prices will go sky high in the summer i don't really want to have a gas guzzling 350

if u can do all the work urself and have 1k to spend u could get a turbo on it.

Re: Turbo?
will that wastegate or blow off valve even work? they are both unbelievably cheap. not to criticize somebody's product, but I just wonder what makes them so cheap.
