aftermarket cams??
does anyone know if there are any companies that make performance cams for the 3.1??? i'm looking to get a little more power out of mine for auto-x racing

those cams don't have the rpm range i'm looking for...
(trying to stay around 6k-6.5k rpm redline)

thats pointless due to the factory intake design power drops off fast after around 4,800 rpms. so even if u got a high rpm cam it will be mismatched to the rest of the motor

ah didn't know that. i couldn't remember, but isn't your car spinning out to 7500rpm or something like that project???

the turbo makes a world of difference compared to an n/a motor, a turbo will move air at rpm vs the na setup

ah ok. so i'm guessing there isn't any high rpm N/A manifolds available for our engines then?

About the 3rd post on down, nothing ever really got resolved, just alot of arguing. But from what I understand there are really no good aftermarket intakes for these cars.

yes that will get u more gains then swaping the intake.
the intake flows well enough as it is, the reason it drops off power at 4-4,500 rpms is cause of its long runner/small plenum design
contact this guy for a tb

ull prolly have to send him ur stocker to get the correct linkages put on it but its cheap
