It's been bone... but I find it hard to believe the gains are worth the work. How much time does air comming into your engine spend passing through the TB, like .001 seconds?

Not necessarily a good idea in cold weather climates. Some people have mentioned throttle body freezing, not sure if it would happen or not though. Something to keep in mind since youre in Ohio though.

don't think it's worth your time, but you already did it so I'd leave it.

I tried it today, just to see what it would be like. Didn't get as sluggish as fast, and after driving in 80 degree weather, I could actually touch the TB. Doesn't make it go faster or anything, I didn't notice a gain at all, just it staying cooler just a little bit longer. I might not keep it bypassed when I swap my motor.
Unless you take it to a dyno, and do a couple runs without the bypass and then a couple with the bypass. I doubt anything will improve. And if you don't drive your Camaro in the winter, then go ahead and keep it bypassed. How did you do yours? I just used one of the original hoses and bent it to fit onto the other, works fine and doesn't kink.

chevyracingrox - its been out for about a month now on the road, no triips to the drag strip yet, probably wont this year either. it needs some work and im w/o a garage to work on it.

It did a whole lotta nothing for me.

Dont need to cover the ports on the TB w/ anything, no reason to really.
