Engine: no engine, 383stroker, inline 6 4.0
Transmission: none, t5, auto
3.1 ecm need help.

how do you make the 3.1 ecm relearn its idle if the car wont stay running?

why does the car shut off?,,any codes being thrown,,if not possible vac leak,no fuel or spark..how long does it run before it stops..

fuels good that im positive off. spark should be good but not poitive. all vaccum lines are good and manifold bolts are tight. it runs for about 2 seconds then dies

did you check the ecm for any codes?...if it was vats it wouldnt do anything so ur good on that,might be weak spark,the gas is extinguishing the spark and causing it to die maybe,,pull all plugs,check color and wear,,if thy r not bad, gap to 45 thousandths (.045) and be sure to check the tbi bolts but that would be a bad leak to only run 3 seconds,u would hear that maybe if some one else turned the key while u listened.Please update us on what u did..

ya i have till tuesday to figure it out then its going to a shop either way ill let u guys know what it is. ive eleminated a ton of stuff. im putting most of my money on it bieng a spark issue i found my voltmeter today so ill be out there tmrw troubleshooting. ive replaced everything from distributor to spark plugs so im guessing i have a short or a broken wire inside the insulation bc everything looks to be good.
