The underside lighting is a nice touch. I like it. Now you need to get the rest of the engine bay to jive.

I think that intake looks way better coated than on any 4th gen. I've seen. Any body know where I can get custom throtle cables?

Re: FINALLY!! the 3.4 is in the car WOOT

after test fitting the fuel rail it looks like i might actually have enough room to get the fuel lines connected. going to have to come up with a creative bend though. any suggestions?

I need to go out there and see if maybe they will squeeze in there with the stock bends... But i'm pretty sure they won't

Re: FINALLY!! the 3.4 is in the car WOOT

well it was a bitch but the lines are connected...ill probably change them at some point i dont really like the bends the way they are not to mention they block a lot of the bolt heads. getting the intake bolted down was tricky. however everything is connected and i have fuel pressure(almost shot me in the face). everything is primed and ready..just waiting on the FPR to get here tomorrow and once i put it on its time to see if it starts. wish me luck

Re: FINALLY!! the 3.4 is in the car WOOT

You need to find a way to clean that up a little. Kinda distracts from that nice candy manifold...

Looks good in there! The 3.4 is a great motor. I've been stuffing it with 15 lbs of boost for years with no problems. What kind of rocker arms are those?

Those are the same ones I have. Through some headers on that motor to really wake it up. Never mind I see you already have a set.

Re: FINALLY!! the 3.4 is in the car WOOT

I've had headers since before pacesetter started making them. They woke up the 3.1 so I'm sure the new motor will love them

Re: FINALLY!! the 3.4 is in the car WOOT

Got a 4th gen throttle cable today, looks to be the right length.. Getting ready to go toy with it and see if it will attach to the pedal. If it does I'm going for a loud cruise through the neighborhood( no exhaust ha ha)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've seen a ton of 3.4 swaps here so I was wondering how much power they put out? Yours looks great BTW!

Wow, looks really awesome man! I suppose this is what I'm eventually going to do. Just out of curiosity where did you pick up the motor and how much did you pay for it?

Re: FINALLY!! the 3.4 is in the car WOOT

homestly i dont know how much it put out after it was put in, it needed a tune and now its getting a turbo put on. however my 3.1 put out 133hp and 178tq...so id assume a bit more than that.

the block i got from the junkyard cost about 550, but ive got more money in the motor than i can even remember now
