Re: Nitrous Devastation!

Took a second look at my numbers and IDK where my head was when I did the altitude correction. The first run on 6psi would have been 13.97 not 14.2 and the run when it poped would have been 13.2 not 13.4. So I was a little faster than I thought.

Re: Nitrous Devastation!

I think it was still too slow on nitrous. Even having it ramp up the way I did something just doesn't add up.

Re: Nitrous Devastation!

I have found that ALL 660's are hard on exh valves. I can't tell you how many of them have been through my surface grinder lol - even low mileage 3500's!

Re: Nitrous Devastation!

When I put 3x00 springs on it I found out it didn't have valvestem seals on the exhaust side, I think in an attempt to keep them cooler. Had to fix that so I wouldn't have oil burning in the exhaust screwing with the turbo.

his looked good but u could see the carbon building up on them i suspect someone did the seats and then replaced the guides as i found new guides installed and the valves werent 100% true to the seats

im pretty sure its due to the design of the ex port under the seat that causes the engines to be hard on the valve seats but i could be wrong
