WTF is the problem?

I was driving my firebird yesterday, because it was nice and warm out. i took it for a spin on some main roads, then decided to it the highway to open it up a little. Well when I decided to get off, i was on the offramp and the car just shut off. So luckily i was able to move it to the shoulder where I got it started again. This has never happened, it will usually stall when its cold out, and at a light or stop sign, but not while im ****in driving! So im gonna take it to my mechanic and see what he finds.

What you think it is? injectors? fuel pump?

Re: WTF is the problem?

Wiring in the ignition system, ignition module or coil, vacuum leak... Those would be my main guesses.

Re: WTF is the problem?

Check the fuel pressure, I just had my pump crap out on me today. Mine would run fine as long as you were cruising, nail the pedal and it would spit and sputter and eventually die. The car was just holding about 28psi of fuel pressure, gas it and the pressure would drop to around 20psi. The repair manual at my cousins shop said it should range from 41-47psi. I'm hopefully replacing mine this weekend.
