Re: Idel help
Code 42 is an EST fault, which means you're probably running on base time, and the engine really doesn't like that. Check to make sure that the connector that is disconnected to set the ignition timing hasn't pulled apart.
Code 13 means your O2S isn't connected to the ECM. I'd fix that as these engines don't like not knowing the AFR.

Re: Idel help
The connector for the O2S will be hanging out of the wire harness by the top of the bellhousing. Has a single purple wire. And yes, you still have an O2S. It's in the pipe about a foot and a half before the cat.
As for the EST, there will be a black single wire connector with a tan/black wire hanging out of the wiring harness by the ignition coil. Not the gray one with the white wire, that's for the tachometer in the dash, and it's not a weatherpack connector with the green gasket.

Re: Idel help
Question is, are you sure you're getting a code 13 and 42? If you were having a problem with the knock sensor, you'd be getting code 43. Codes 14 and 15 are for the coolant temp sensor (check this one especially as it can really throw a wrench in the works if the connector isn't plugged in or if it's damaged internally and open). Code 33 and 34 are MAP, same thing as code 14.

Also, check your base timing and make sure it's on 10* BTDC.

Re: Idel help
o2 sensor has been placed... code 42 still there and still shakes when leaving first a bit... although i have notice it only happens at low rpms or not giving enough gas so
.... rpms still idel at 1000 still tring to figure to bring it down. mayb fuel injector stuck or spitting bad....

When doing any work to sensors or any other adjustments. Remember to disconnect the negative battery cable.
With all that your doing you will need to do the reprogram (learn) steps for your ECM
Also check your ICM (idle control motor) Or replace it outright. Clean the housing for it.
make sure that the O ring is good. And the plunger depth is to factory speck 1 1/4 inches
good luck
