Stock 89 2.0L Prelude Vs Stock 92 3.1L Camaro

Who do you think would win in a red light race? Oh, both of the cars have 5 speeds. Give me your opinions please.

If you remove the floor mats, spare tire and jack, all the stereo crap, have about 4 gallons of gas, over inflate the front tires, remove your air filters or clean your K&N's then I would say you..

Well, I raced my friend's 92 Prelude, and he had the 2.0 and a 5 speed. I have an automatic and I killed him. I even left the floormats in!
Vman

PS, and it was red and had a "R (or what the hell ever)-Type sticker, so his car was probably 15 mph faster than a stock Prelude.

HAHAAAAA I HATE RICERS

The floor mat thing has to do with the fact they often ride up under the gas pedal and at times you don't get 100 percent of a real full throttle.... Many local racers never drive with a drivers floor mat due to that..

Oh, I thought it was just a joke. Mine always get pushed to the outside and would hamper the clutch, if I had one, but no problems for the gas for me! KICK HIS ***** A$$!!!!!!

well, don't have to much experience with preludes, but i did meet up with one once, it was from a stop light, and i was just screwing around with the guy, i spanked him hard, and afterwards he said he thought i had to have a 305. Any other foreign races, there was once a 87 Acura Integra, nice looking with a 2.0L stickshift, against my auto. He held with me until 70, then i pulled away. The guy also drives a 305 firebird, and agreed to me, that my car is much better than his is (integra), in the long run, although his stick gives him off the line advantage. I'd recommend a power launch from about 2000-3000rpms, brakestand preferably.

a 2.0 acura and a 2.0 prelude have the same motor, honda owns acura.. their the same thing, just a different name..

no way dude, that type R sticker adds 20 HP, also the bigger the tailpipe tip, the quicker the acceleration, chrome adds 5hp for each chrome item depending on size...

hell scoob, i think i'm gonna take my car and get the whole thing chrome plated then, and i mean everything, chrome pipes, chrome panels, chrome engine, chrome gas tank, chrome gas, chrome interior, etc. I'll have like infinate horsepower, through the powerband heck, the powerband will be from 0 rpms-redline

No, not yet. This guy with the Prelude is a real dumb *** . And Im not joking. Yesterday he got his *** beat at a party so I cant seem to find him. I heard he is hiding at someone's house from that guy that kicked his *** . Oh well, he lives a street away so I will meet up with him sooner or later. And when I do I will BE SURE to let you guys know what happened with the race!

monkie, didn't you read Scoobs post about how each chrome item on a ***** adds 5hp, depending on size. It's a pun, on foreign car owners mentality about how to add horsepower. with stickers and chrome.
