I like carbed engines more you can fine tune them to your likeings and you can put in spacers to add More HP and i just see them being funner to fiddle with my moms 403 was carbed and that T/A screamed

You can also get a 4bb intake from Edlebrock.
.........Or 2bb,what ever floats your boat

The question should be cosidered is there potential benefit to going with a carb?
1) How many cfm does your current intake flow ?
2) If it is less than 390 cfm and I'm pretty sure it is you could gain hp and extend your potential for rpm's using the holley 390 square bore with vacume secondary's . Additionally , because of the moderated air flow of the carb. you should notice a fatter and flater torq line.
3) Wet plate nos for square bore carb set-ups are between 400 and 500 bucks and are a pretty straight forward to set up.
What ever you deside to do let us know how it goes.
