I'm going to buy the TT book or the How to book for TT setup & install. It guides you through all the steps for it. And it shows how to do it without breaking the bank for it too. So if all goes well w/ my tranny on Monday when it is in the shop then that might be something next to do when I get my full exhaust done. Later guys

One of you please remind me to post pics from one of my Motor Trends.

Its a 1990 issue of a '90 ASC McLaren Grand Prix, with the 3.1 turbo, making 200hp. Its a very rare car...I found a junk one for sale a year ago for $5000! New they went for about 25 grand, they only made 5000 or so, and were replaced in '91 by the GTP model with the 215hp 3.4 DOHC V6.

I'll try to remember over break to scan the article and put it on my website so you guys can have a look...the pics will give you an idea of the turbo setup on that car, even though it's transverse mounted.

 

Oh, that is too sweet!!!!! That is about my dream 2.8 TT setup. Where did he get those turbos at?

HA! I wish I knew. The only information he gave was he used a porsche turbo throttle body and a TPI intake. Not much more was said.

Don't worry guys Mike is here to the rescue. Well I don't have the answers but I will be working on this TT w/ an intercooler idea to it when the headers get installed. So hopefully before Febuary I will have some specs and updates on this for you guys. Then after that Knight Rider will be hitting my car. Later guys

Vortex, if you check out the guy's web page, it looks like he works in a speed shop and builds custom turbos. It looks like it would cost lotsa $$$ to get that setup.
